Arafat Sermon translating into 10 Languages in the Current Hajj Season

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Holy Mosque is preparing for the 1442 Hajj season, represented by the General Administration of Languages and Translation Department to translates and streaming Arafat Sermon into 10 languages via Manarat Al-Haramain electronic platform and FM. They also increase the number of languages for the spital, temporal, and cultural guidance into more than 25 languages, which comes under the slogan (spreading Hedayah to the Globe).

Director of Languages and Translation Administration Mashari Al-Massoudi said that the project ensures that pilgrims would do their practice with ease and comfort. It is also to transfers the echo of Muslim Qibla in many languages all over the world.



Livestream
The General Presidency is working through the previous project to translate and livestreaming Arafat sermon from Arabic into many languages via TV, FM, and Apps (Arafat App, Al-Haramain App, and Manarat Al-Haramain platform), to deliver Arafat Sermon to all pilgrims and Muslims in the world. The livestream comes in many forms such as: translated audio, live show, online publishing, booklet, and many publications provided to pilgrims in Nimra mosque and Arafat.

It is noted that the project started with five languages which are: (English, French, Farsi, Malay, Urdu), in addition to Arabic. In the second year, six languages are available with the addition of the Chinese language.

General Head of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Holy Mosque Affairs Imam Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais announce increasing the number of languages to become ten languages including Turkish, Russian, Hausa, Bengali.
